The Aztec Story

Aztec was started in 1976 by two brothers who were floor contractors. They decided that there had to be a faster, better way to strip VCT tile floors. They created the propane-powered Sidewinder planetary stripping machine. Soon they were stripping floors 10 times faster then they ever had.

They then ran into another problem – they couldn't lay strip solution or pick it up fast enough to keep up with the Sidewinder. They created Liquidator and Guzzler to solve these problems, doubling their stripping speed again. To this day there NO faster VCT stripping system.

In 1994 Aztec was purchased by Allan Beverly and Whit Beverly. Allan had 35 years experience running several industrial hose distributorships. Whit had 5 years sales experience with a Delaware Corporation marketing Dell Computers to state agencies and educational institutions.

 

Since 1994, Aztec has introduced 8 totally new high-speed machines, each with the goal of increasing job productivity and making more profit for the contractor.

Also since 1994 Aztec has released new higher quality, lower price models of every single machine that it makes.
